Rachael Elrod, M.S.O.M., L.Ac., Dipl. OM.
I am a Colorado board-certified acupuncturist. I received my Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Southwest Acupuncture College, where I completed over 3,000 hours of comprehensive clinical and theoretical training. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Mexico.
My training is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which I rely on for diagnosis and herbal prescriptions. Additionally, I have trained in Japanese-style acupuncture techniques, which are gentle yet highly effective.
Some of my special interests include mood imbalances, chronic pain, and longevity. I incorporate a variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle.
Why I choose to practice
Oriental Medicine

I suffered from anxiety and depression for many years and tried many treatment modalities. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, I developed cluster headaches. With the help of Oriental medicine, I now live a balanced life—free from pain, medication, depression, anxiety, and headaches.
I was amazed by these results and deeply grateful to have my life back. That’s why I dedicated my life to mastering this practice and bringing this incredible, natural medicine to you.
